The Original Australian Nylon (Plastic) Greyhound Muzzles were designed and first manufactured by the late Frank O'Sullivan in the early 1970's. Frank was the owner/trainer of one of the best stayers at the time, Miram Miss, and by trade was a toolmaker and plastics moulder in Moorabbin, Victoria.
After his untimely death shortly after, his company was managed by a number of different people, and the muzzles had a somewhat checkered history until the business was acquired two years ago by Azpak Marketing in Fawkner, Victoria.
Azpak Marketing is owned by veteran Victoria Greyhound Journalist, Roger Clark, the muzzles are moulded at Preston in Victoria, and Roger and his fiancee, Vicki (pictured with one of her greyhounds, Gypsy Shot, now retired,) do all the assembly work, and have now taken over their own selling and distribution.
Veteran Victorian greyhound Journalist Roger Clark has announced his resignation from the National Greyhound Form Newspaper after almost nine years as a weekly columnist.
Prior to commencing with NGF in December 1999, he had previously had 25 Years with the Victorian Greyhound Weekly, and his Victorian metropolitan breeding statistics, the only statistics available for many years, started in 1976 were also published for a number of years in various other publications including his weekly column in Australia's largest rural newspaper The Weekly Times which ran for 13 years, and for more than ten years in the Greyhound Adviser, official publication of Greyhound Racing Victoria.

Roger is taking his Talking Breeding column to The Greyhound Recorder, commencing Thursday 3 July, where it will combine all his usual reviews of litters registered in Victoria, along with those in N.S.W, and his usual From The Mailbag segment which picks up on litters from all around Australia.
Anyone having trouble obtaining a copy of The Greyhound Recorder should ring the Recorder office on (02) 9646 5885, or 1800 677 273 free call, and they will arrange for copies to be made available at your newsagent.
His involvement with Greyhounds started back in the 1950's with his late uncle, Jack Baines, then the doyen of Victorian Greyhound Coursing trainers, and followed up in the 1960's with his association with two of the great trainers of the era, Rod Deakin and Ned Bryant.
